Our Story

What started as a brief moment at a high school dance turned into something much more, years later. After both finding their way back home—Lee during the COVID years and Carolyn after losing her condo in a fire—they reconnected online and quickly realized the timing was finally right.

Laidback by nature and grounded in a deep sense of partnership, their relationship grew with ease. A trip to San Francisco brought things full circle, where Lee proposed at the very spot they had once placed a love lock.

Now, with their one-year-old son Palmer, their greatest adventure yet, they’ve discovered that parenthood has brought out the very best in their teamwork—and in each other.

Helpful Info

Are kids welcome?

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and want you to fully enjoy our big day! To make that possible, this will be an adults-only event. We know arranging childcare isn’t always easy, but think of this as a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the party. Our own child and nieces and nephews will, of course, be joining us.

Where should I park?

Parking is available at Claremont-Goddard Park, as well as along the surrounding streets. We kindly ask that the spots directly in front of the house be reserved for guests who may need closer access.

What should I wear?

Dress to celebrate! Wedding attire is perfect, but the backyard is mostly grass—so shoes that won’t sink in are ideal. If you decide to wear heels anyway, we’ll graciously accept any ‘air raids’ on the lawn!”

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift of all. For those who have asked, we would be so grateful for a contribution toward our future together.
